Here Michael is looking down, his hair falling across his face, captured mid-move but it feels more like a moment of concentration.

I was photographing for Sounds, and from the pit I had only a limited amount of time to work.

For a few seconds the superstar disappeared and I was left with the performer concentrating on what he's doing.
