Once Kurt started smashing the guitar, the show changed completely.

I'd been photographing quite sparingly up until this point, but now I was shooting as quickly as I could. There was no knowing how long it would last, or what he was going to do next.

This is one of the reasons I like having the sequence rather than just one dramatic frame. You can see the event unfolding rather than being given the edited version of it.

I was still standing at the side of the stage, trying to stay out of the way and make the most of whatever frames I could get.
