From The Manics first press photo session commissioned by their then manager, the late, great Phillip Hall, to whom I literally owe my career.

It was Philip who, when I answered a tiny back page ad in Time Out for Stiff Records in March 1985 looking for photographers, gave me my first jobs and nurtured me through my early years.

Philip was sadly taken by cancer in 1993 but his legacy lives on with us and in my heart forever x
