Shot in the basement of Sony's then London HQ on Soho Sq, West One.

This image was part of a fundraising exhibition for the Terrance Higgins Trust I did with fellow NME photographers Kevin Cummins and Derek Ridgers.

On the opening night Mick Jones, Joe's old compadre in The Clash, told me that he thought this was the best picture of Joe he'd ever seen. 

Praise indeed.

Oh and we raised £30,000 for THT!
