The finished print gives you one moment; the sheet gives you the dozen or so decisions surrounding it. A hand moves, a head turns, the microphone comes up, the lights change and suddenly one frame is better than the next.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThis was Ilford HP5, and the grain and contrast are very much part of the look of the finished photographs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eWhat I find interesting here is how repetitive the sequence initially appears.
