The third roll I shot is more about the group as a whole, with the S1W moving into the foreground and the others arranging themselves around them. The sequence starts with the full group and gradually gets tighter until the two uniformed S1W members are almost filling the frame.

There are plenty of small changes from one frame to the next — a hand going up, somebody looking away, somebody stepping forward — which is exactly why I still find contact sheets useful. They show the bit that normally gets lost between taking the photograph and seeing the finished print.
