This is the first roll from the session and you can see the photographs changing as we moved around the walkway. The early frames are more open, with the group spread out, before I started getting closer to Chuck D and Flavor Flav and the pictures became much tighter.

I was shooting black and white film and working quickly, so the contact sheet shows the usual process of trying a few different positions and waiting for the right combination of expression, gesture and background. The final frames at the bottom are much closer to the photograph I eventually wanted.
