Nirvana

Artwork Title: Kurt Cobain - Nirvana - Pyramid Club NYC - The Breaking Point
And then Kurt started smashing things.
The problem was the sound on stage. He had become increasingly frustrated with what he was hearing, and towards the end of the show that frustration finally boiled over. The guitar was the first thing to go.
I'd only shot about half a roll up to this point. I was being economical because I had to buy the film and pay for the processing myself, and I still had shows to photograph in Amherst the next day and Hoboken after that.
That calculation suddenly went out of the window.
I was standing at the side of the stage and realised that whatever happened next, I needed to photograph it. From this point onwards I shot as much as I could before the band walked off.
