I'd photographed the band earlier that day in the East Village and was now standing at the side of the stage at the Pyramid Club for the entire show.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eAt this point I was still being fairly careful with the film. I was paying for the film and processing myself, and I knew I still had another show to photograph in Amherst the following day and another in Hoboken after that. So I wasn't firing away indiscriminately; I was trying to make every frame count.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eLooking at this photograph now, knowing what happened later that night, there is something rather nice about its ordinariness.
