Every slight shift in expression, every adjustment in position and every frame leading up to the photograph that eventually gets chosen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThis roll was photographed for Creation Records during an all-day shoot in May 1994. The idea of using the Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank as a backdrop actually came from Noel Gallagher, and it proved to be an inspired choice. The huge dish gave the photographs a strong sense of scale and helped create one of the most recognisable sets of early Oasis publicity images.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThe pink chinagraph mark identifies the frame I selected for printing at the time. Before digital editing, this was simply part of the process: studying contact sheets with a loupe, marking the chosen frame by hand and sending it off to the darkroom.
